Trans Filter Kit

Hello all.

I have been doing some searching on here and I can't find the thread I am looking for, so I thought I would just ask the question again. I am looking to buy (before christmas) a remote tranny filter kit that must include a port for the transmission fluid sensor. I currently have a 1/4 npt VDO sensor that sends to a dakota digital guage that i would like to retain, but I can replace the sender with another one if absolutely necessary. My question is, what is the best one, where is the best place to mount it, and where do I get it?

I would say get a perma-cool kit # 10677.
It's a filter kit w/ sender port, sender and guage.

I will agree with the last post. This is what I have on several of mine. It is a good one and the sensor can be put into it. I put mine in the same area. I have some pictures in my locker of the install. Hope that helps. If they aren't in my locker, they are in the How-To Locker.
