Ok, but does it fit between the firewall and the TB?
-- Oh wait, isn't this going into a Porsche? Can't remember what you drive...

oh.... I don't know, I don't own an SVX to test it on.
If you want, you can give me a measurement and I can tell you. -- Yeah, it's going in my 911. Sorry, I should have said that |

If it were bigger there's no way it'd fit in an SVX, the coupling makes assure of that. It would have to come up and out from the TB at and angle. With my TB spacer the intake duct actually rubs on some electrical connecor on the firewall.

Which part? The two tubes going to the throttle bodies are 2.75" and they feed from a 3" tube. From there, I going to the MAF sensor which is also 3"

I sure hope thats gonna be under boost. Otherwise it will prove more of a restriction and a benefit

Anyway, the stock tube is closer to 4inches at that particular end to allow it to fit over the TB inlets. Maybe bigger. I haven't measured it. See attachment:

how do you figure? It will be no less of a restriction than the stock MAF sensor. Please explain.

Flow is your friend, the sharp angles of the air being sucked into the engine hits a wall before it enters the throttle body. Using a smooth transfer helps a lot. I made one against my own judgement for a customer and it was good for an increase of close to 20 wheel horsepower Tom |

Nice! It is an innovative piece. I think what Tom is saying that you may want to have a smoother bend/flow of piping to keep the air flowing into the intake. Like SVXtasy's intake--->
Regardless! You may enjoy the positives that the intake may bring. At least one person has a similar design (Searching) Ah yes..the copper intake created by Silverspear--> Silver says he noticed some seat-of-the-pants gains from the intake and he enjoys it. The welds appear to look nicely done. Good luck with your results.
