what kind of diff. fluid to use?
can some one point me in the direction of oil to use in the front and rear differentials? can i use Subaru Extra-S 75w90? or does it take atf?

75w 90 will work fine, but for the rear you need to mix lsd additive in with the oil, or you will probably damage the rear end. you can get it at most autoparts stores or the dealer sells it for under $10.

Our Limited Slip Differential rears are a sealed viscous fluid type, and require no such additive.

yeah, i don't have a owners manual unfortunatly. is anyone for sure about slightly different weights? i would love to just get a barrel of subaru extra-s, i heard it will do wonders for my LGT too.

Front differential—(operating temperatures -30 to +90F) 80W/90, capacity 1.3 US quarts Rear differential—(operating temps as above) 75W/90, capacity 0.8 qt. |
