sun visor fix?
I've found the sun visor repair faq, but am lazy. I recall a product for sale that was a plastic piece that slipped over the visor and under the sill of the headliner to keep the visor in place. Anyone hear of this and/or know if they are available, and if they work?

You can use a pen to do this

I will have to take some. Yes, they work and are clear plastic so they can't really be seen.
A pencil or pen works good like Earthworm mentioned.

I use a Sharpie cap wedged between the outboard edge of the visor and the vinyl door trim. But these tend to fall out after a few days, and that's getting a little old. In fact, maybe it's time for a "parts wanted" post...
The driver's visor in my teal SVX was replaced by the dealer when I bought the car. I've never used it and doubt I ever will.

I did a sort of "lazy-man's" mod based on the write-up. I cut it open, used 4 heavy duty zip ties around it, after removing the broken plastic part, tightened them with a pair of pliers, and sewed it back up. Not a problem since.

my previous owner decided to use vel-cro tape, and not do a good job. now i have sticky-ugly all over my visors and roof cloth.
