95 SVX LSI parts needed
I'm trying to get my SVX going after a couple of years for my son.
The shop says I need a new driveline, front passenger side calipers, power seat fuse/module, and a power window fuse/module(the ones under the seat. I suspect I may end up needing more, but that should get it going for now. To try to keep the price reasonable and avoid parting it out I'm looking for good used parts at a reasonable price. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. |

The meaning of 'driveline'? Whether it means axle (there are 4, one for each wheel being driven) or driveshaft (one AWD only) these are not parts that go bad sitting.
I personally wouldn't install used calipers. They should be replaced in sets to maintain even braking. Rebuilts are around $100 each net. There is a relay and a circuit breaker under the driver's seat that controls the windows, power seat and moon roof. The relay is commonly available. The circuit breaker can be replaced with a generic from Advance Auto or other supplier. Good luck! |

See if Earl (ensteel)can help you out..Im pretty sure he has a parts car...and with 13 other svxi, I have a feeling he could lend more insight into your "Drive line" problem.
Driveline...wtf is driveline? somehing tells me the shop you took your car to is a little clueless

I meant driveshaft. I quess the brain turned of before the fingers The mechanic said one was available for $160 and the other was not available. Is there a part number for the relay and breaker? By readily available are we talking Schucks, or Subaru? Does the generic circuit breaker just plug in, or does it require rewiring? Last edited by Daber; 05-31-2007 at 08:23 PM. |

I'm getting vibrations at all speeds. The mechanic said it was coming from the driveshaft.
He said the u joints were freezing up due to sitting so long. Last edited by Daber; 05-31-2007 at 08:36 PM. |
