need help! prob svx drinking loads of gas

hey all. now i know svxs use an bit of gas but ive only done 250kms and used 3/4s of an tank . i think its running rich coz even when the car is hot it smokes. now im wanting to know what the prob could be? so i can fix it? the check engine light has flicked on from time 2 time.

Sounds like the temperature sensor or the bypass valve to me.

ie. "running on choke".

Hey Subbie, just saw your picture post over at XT6

I'm not sure if you can check the ECU codes the same as we can on USDM models, but the directions are in the "How To" docs up top ^^^

That would give a good clue to help identify what's causing the issue...

and where abouts do ya get the codes from for an svx? i know the xt/xt6 is in the boot. is an svxs 1 under the dash?
