Back to Subaru

Its been a long time since my difficult and ill fated experience with my former 97 SVX that is now loved and tenderly cared for by a forum member here on this site. Since then I've bought other cars but never forgot the magic of driving the SVX. So Im back to hopefully find another SVX and experience that magic again. Currently I drive a 95 BMW 840Ci that I absolutely love. Ive always loved bigger 2 door tourers such as the 8 and the SVX. I also had a 06 Mustang GT that was totalled by my sister earlier in the month as she was becoming more proficient driving a 5 speed. So after that I decided to stick with foreign cars lol. BTW thank god for side air bags, they saved her life.So i guess I do owe Ford Motor Co. for adopting that innovation.

Ouch. Good to know your sister's alright.

But how does practising driving a manual end up hitting a pole?

She was tboned by a yellow Ford Escape. Driving 5 speed doesnt really have anything to do with the accident. She was just getting used to the car and driving to and from work. 16 year olds and 300hp dont mix but shes a good girl and a cautious driver. Accident wasnt her fault. Other driver failed to yield the right of way. Im just glad shes alright and thanks for your condolances. =)

Thank goodness she is alright. Cars can be replaced, sisters can't.

lmfao... that really way too funny. I remember learning stick in an 88 GT.. that was a time... But you know how people get, they wanna show off and theyre stupid when theyre ego's get enlarged. We've all been there as kids or as adults. New car+Big childish ego= a jacked up car.

But seriously, Jess is a good driver, very calm and cautious. I dont doubt her ability to drive. After all, it was the 32 year old man than hit her that needs to reevaluate his driving skills...
