Arrow Radiator Plastic Crack

My radiator works perfectly. The only problem is a small crack in the top plastic part.

Is there a way just to replace that plastic part, or do I have to get a whole new radiator?

I've heard of it being done but there's an aftermarket radiator by "Silla", I believe, that isn't very expensive and reportedly fits well.

Arrow ebay

Yeah, I saw that one. The pic looks like a good fit. Im thinking about hitting the good ol credit card up.

I want to put on new brake rotors and pad, external tranny cooler, new radiator, better air filter, replace o-rings and hose on steering rack.

I really like that radiator for about $460. Its a 5 pass and if I had that beefy radiator I might not have to install an external tranny cooler.

Don't waste the money on the PWR unless you would "need" it. By that I mean making more power which requires more cooling. The stock one with an external cooler will be fine for another 10-15 years

Arrow Stock Radiator

I probably will go with the $146 stock radiator. If I do go with the stock one I will still need to get a external tranny cooler.

I have heard it was a bad screen that caused the original trannys to over heat and die. I have also heard that the stock radiator does not cool the tranny enough.

I had the same problem with my radiator, and after repeated attempts at patching it, I discovered that I was being a tool, and just bought a new one from Dayle... point is, you definately need a new radiator.

Arrow Radiator

My new radiator should be here soon. I bought the one off ebay. So I got a brand new radiator for $146. It will be $176 with the shipping included.

The patch I have on my radiator is still rock solid.

I tried about 3 different appoxy mixes before I found something that held up.

As soon as I bought the radiatior my car started acting up. The radiator has not even got here yet.

my car runs fine when its cold. Once it warms up it has a miss. The car cranks and idles fine but will miss repeatedly. Im gonna put it in the shop on monday. It feels like it might be coil, spark plug, or timing. Does anyone know a trustworthy mechanic in Austin Texas.

Anyone want to buy a slightly used radiator

you're lucky really, you have 2 dealers in austin, I would probably take it to one of them, we only have one here, and it is an afterthought to a ford dealership.

Arrow Dealer

The only problem with a dealer is they usually charge about 5x as much as a regular shop.

I was talking to one of my friends and they recomended this shop

Im about to go outside and pull my timing cover off. I have a guy coming over that is really good with timing.
