Does our suspension lower at ~65mph?
Thought I read somewhere that our cars lower themselves at higher speeds for better handling.. kinda like some Lincolns and other luxury cars.

I know that the spoiler puts some down force on the back of the car at 100+ mph. There has been some discussion on how much, but there hasn't been any firm conclusions on how much. I don't know if the front of the car has any down force or not at higher speeds. I have noticed a difference between SVXes that I have driven at higher speeds that have or don't have spoilers.

If I sit in your SVX the suspension lowers automatically, even if the SVX is at a standstill. Sometimes the tires even flat spot (usually after canoli).

One thing I noticed the first time I took my car for a spirited run was that it seemed to assume a lower posture as my speed increased... and that's with no wing, at speeds well under 100MPH. I consider that illusion the mark of a suspension system well engineered for the highway.

The AWD XT6 or XTTurbo with Air suspension will automaticly lower at over 60 MPH...maybe that is where you read it...

It's definately the Subaru XT6 AWD or the Turbo-XT AWD he's thinking about with the automatic Air Suspension...I have/had both and that's exactly what they do around 65 mph...pretty cool, actually (when it's working properly, I might add!).
