Brake light blues

The (B) light has just appeared when I turn on the ignition and stays on all the time. I checked the fluid level it is good. What else causes this light to come on? What other checks can I make before entering the relm of $100.00/hour labor rates at the dealer? 92 SVZ still running strong at 85,000 miles- original transmission.

Setting your parking brake also turns this light on, doesn't it? Maybe your parking brake switch is faulty.

with abs systems if this is the case alot of lights are set from frail wires. wires that brake from the wheels turning and hitting bumps. if not the parking brake inspect wires around calipers for cuts or brakes. if a broken wire soder and dont twist and tape.

If it was the ABS system, the ABS light would be on.

If the rubber gasket on the brake fluid cap is extended out, it could be pushing the float down. This would give a false warning light.

Dual turbo model with Auto pilot "sleep mode". Extremely rare... Loads of maintenance problems with the after-burner, and self-washing system.
