No as I stated the whole set-up revolves as a solid unit, would be the same as the Transfer system. The two systems would be no different on straight line acceleration. Harvey.

Every single article I've read of a Euro or OZ SVX (with VTD) had a 0-60mph time in the 8+ second range. The article at the start of this thread is a perfect example. Also on Jamsvx's site, he's archived several all with similar times. For the US cars, the mags here got times in the low to mid 7 second range - Road & Track, Motortrend and Car & Driver. Jamsvx's site also has these articles as well... -Chike

What I never got around to doing was copying the back of car magazines from 1992 to 1997 - they showed the name, price, power, 0-100kph etc for virtually all cars so in Oz at that time...interesting to see the quoted 0-100 times drop over the 5 years..the initial ones could only have been achieved if you missed a turn and went over a ravine...in later years, they became more accurate......but they never did a 5kph - 100kph.....rolling starts were much much better...wasn't that right Mr Boxster try hard yuppie in a Porsche trying to cut me off... opps..sorry!!
*Cassie delivered an ear bashing to me on that one - great co-pilot not!!*
