Are these things illegal? They are not bragging about DOT certification in the ads. Just want to hear it someone who knows - my expertise is in SVX tinkering, electronics, and obviously - oil.

It's been 8 years, I've not had to replace any bulb on the car, but it'll probably happen.

I had them in my last car. No problem w/ the police what so ever. And these are EL cops that will pull you over for anything and everything they can. I picked up a hyper white pair for $40 from Mr. Tunes in Jackson, MI. They were the best pair my friend found w/o going to the HID conversion which runs $500. He went though pretty much every brand out there.
