Svx Japanese headlights

I was going to get a pr of OEM Subaru SVX headlights from
Japan this week but before I do......can anyone tell me how they differ from the U.S. headlights ?.....or is there any diff.?

Big diffeence in headlights! Use the same part number as the UK-spec assemblies. Since these cars are right hand drive the reflector assemblies are opposite of what we would use here in the US. This puts the light on the wrong side of the road.

I am in contact with people at Subaru Deutschland about their assemblies. They have left-hand drive like we do, so the beam pattern is correct. The main advantage is the German ones have GLASS lenses instead of plastic. Am currently waiting on Part numbers and prices from them

Glass lenses would be soooo nice. The Justy is my only Subaru with glass lenses...

You mean, like, as in glass?! Such as real glass stuff is made of?!? Maybe wonderfullly clear, scratchless, pitless, hazeless glass?!?!

yeah, but they are about $500 ea.......
My Soarer has the stock Jap spec headlights and
you cant even tell they point the other way.....that
too me isnt an issue because I live with it on that
car everyday and its not a problem......If these are a
all glass....and better, I may have to break down
and get a pair.......dg
