Oh god why????? Just when we were turning the corner from funky, quirky, goofy little Japanese company to having truly world class vehicles we get the 21st Century Edsel. AAAAGGGGHHHHH Please god answer my prayers. GM seel your shares to Porsche. Let them cross-polinate Boxer engine technology and produce truly great cars with Boxers and AWD. A Suby with a German edge. Anything but that crap. Why o why god? Have mercy on our souls. And please don't let Randy buy a yellow one.

I like the current Subaru "signature" grill. It has class. For me this is the Legacy grill on the 95 with the badge in the middle.
I think it would look better if it did not stick out so far but I still do not like it. Too radical.

Significant Technical Input
Look at this way...

...the car will never be stolen as it was pre-vandalized at the factory! The upside-down Alfa-Romeo grille, the mid-70's Toyota Corolla SR-5 riveted-on fender lips (that's what they remind me of, anyway) and a God knows what mid section coupled with an old man's butt rear end (nothing there to speak of) is just plain poor marketing and styling. Maybe it's the way Subaru plans to jump into the 'me too' retro look - their look of the past, too funky to be funky.

At least now we know where the guy that penned the Aztec found a job...

UGLY

I dont understand how anybody could design such an ugly vehicle, thats up there with the beetle, aztek, and PT cruiser. Im pretty sure a 5 year old could design something better than that. If subaru makes it, I will take everything off my car that says subaru, and i'll replace the hood emlem with an SVX one.

Looking through the website, it would appear that a large number of the 'spy shots, are little more than their own imaginings. I wouldn't worry too much at this stage.

Appears to be a montage based on the B11S?

IMHO if that is the styling that winds up on the production car, SOA will have a bigger financial flop on their hands than the SVX. The good part is that we can pick them up very inexpensively on the used car market. Then we can hold a SG/X & SVX meet.
