I pick up my SVX tomorrow in Chicago...and I will have it fitted with this tire when I get it.

I can't say enough about these tires...

Thumbs up Blizzak LM22 Tires

Ajax ON.
How do you like the Blizzak tires ?
This is my 3rd winter w/ LM22 tires and I find them very good on ice and as you are aware we have lots of icy roads in Wpg. this year. The residential streets are like skating rinks. Previously my SVX had the softer rubber Blizzak tires, they were good but the trade-off was " they wear out faster".

bye.......Ralph

Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's....

This weekend was the first time that I ever really took these out in the wet weather... They were Awesome!!! 85mph and no hint of hydroplaning... I was passing everything on the road like they were doing 55mph... (they probably were)... I was late for the workers meeting at the Sand Blast Rally in Cheraw SC... So I had to haul some @$$ to get there before everyone went to sleep... I think that I kinda like these tires now... used to think that they were just kinda cheap but they really did well in the rain.... And they have pretty good grip... Haven't heard them squeal yet

Well because of all the accolades this tire seems to be getting from SVX and other Subaru owners, and because of the $87 price tag, I'm confident enough in them to place an order from The Tire Rack and give them a shot. Thanks all for the recommendation.
