Dayle - thanks
Dayle (and anybody else interested enough to look),
I finally got around to installing the tranny temp gauge that's been on my shelf for like a year. I kept trying to make it fit in the lower DIN slot (below the radio), but it just wouldn't have it. So I finally broke down and got the A-pillar pod (from Dayle). BTW, Thanks for the quick service. Fit's pretty good if you ask me (see pic below). No heat gun used to mold the pod, just pressed it up in place. One thing, I didn't use the attachment fittings, just 3M super-strength trim tape (working good so far). And I used a bit of 4-strand telephone wire (22 gauge) to come out the side of the pod and loop back under the a-pillar. No holes in the pillar, and the wiring just slips in & hides. Used just enough of the telephone cord to get me under the dash, where I used larger gauge wire to complete the circuits. Lee |

Looks like a nice, clean installation, Lee. Good job.
As for me, I couldn't stand to have the tranny temp staring me in the face like that. <shudder> I'm paranoid enough as it is.

hopefully lee you could get a temp gauge that will fit where the 'open door' section of the dash cluster lies. that would be nice. it's about the right color
