1992 Subaru SVX for Project or Parts - $1,200 OBO - McHenry, IL

For sale is a 1992 Subaru SVX LS-L with 152k miles. This car was used as my daily driver for the past few years until a couple months ago when the rear right side upper window was broken by a falling branch during a storm, but is still able to perform this task. Originally, the car was in an accident which damaged a cam pulley. After the cam repair the engine ran but other problems remained. The engine was then replaced from a 1994 SVX with ~80k miles. The car has new BFGoodrich tires with less than 10k miles on them. The car is in rough shape cosmetically, but is a good fix-it-up or spare parts car.

Features: 3.3L H6 Engine, Automatic, AWD, Leather Seats, Sun-roof

Good:
- Four new BFGoodrich tires with less than 10k miles
- Engine runs well
- Clean Title
- Transmission shifts good but does not engage drive immediately from park (might be due to low oil level from leaking hose)
- Body panels and undercarriage have minimal rust/corrosion (was a southern car)

Bad:
- Blemishes in the paint around the car
- Paint chipping on front bumper and trunk lid
- AC compressor not installed but is included
- Airbag system was deployed
- Small transmission oil leak from cooling hoses
- Rear right side upper window is broken (was covered right after it happened)
- Front windshield has crack along the lower portion
- Radiator has small crack in upper portion
- Left front fender bit up by curious dog
- Drivers seat is worn out
