JIS screw drivers

Did you know, that the screw heads in our cars is neither phillips nor pozi drive, but JIS?

The history of the Phillips head is interesting.

I bought a set of Vessels and they really do fit the japanese screws really well. A very cool addition to my tools. And they fit all our Honda bikes and three Subaru cars .

Very interesting indeed. What made you investigate?

The story of the Robertson (Canadian) screwdriver is also very interesting.

I ran into the subject on a bike forum.

Couldn't find them here - bought a set while in Connecticut.

Not meaning to derail your topic but I found this and thought it was interesting.
