Anyone use Pulstar Iridium Plugs?

Seen something on TV the other day claiming these were amazing something or other... but, I was just curious if anyone here has used them or do use them in their current SVX and care to comment about them?

I did a forum search and only one result came up for the pulsar plugs and it was in joke form so... I'm guessing no one has used/tried them yet or at least publicly spoken about them.

Anyone with any experience?

PO put them in my car. Car runs good starts extremely fast . Sometime I barely hear the starter motor , but then it has a humungous battery

i would assume they were old because i did it right after i bought the car...but when i took the old ones out my dad looked at them and said they looked fine (not burnt or white?) they were bosch plugs and they had a very tiny point on them...so i could be wrong but either way car def felt better

a friend of mine tried the pulstar plugs in his m3, even had them cryogenically frozen. said he noticed no change in power or mileage but that they foul easily. if they get a little oil or fuel on them the plug will misfire until you take it out and clean it off.

I read about the old ones being crap and then they did a redesign, not sure how long ago that was? 2008/2009 they had issues I know.

this was last summer, so it must still be somewhat an issue. probably not a big deal if you don't run rich or burn oil though.

I put them in my "old" SVX... the one with 200K on it and it runs better than either my "Silver" with 50K on it or my "Pearl" white with 66K+ on it.

I bought mine after the price went down. Originally they were ridiculously priced.

Great plugs and when I replace my plugs on the other two cars, it will definitely be Pulsar Iridium Plugs.

When they first came out, I brought up the subject on this form and the "experts" responded explaining to me why they wouldn't work!

Yea, I heard about it and they said if you're using premium octane and I was like ! I use premium! then it's ideal to use these plugs. Did you or have you changed out the coil packs on your 200k?

Still, 12.95 a piece isn't a joke but I guess if they are warranted at 100k miles, just like the NGKs are, then why not try it?

I'll probably give these a go on my upcoming 210k!

I didn't... Always use premium ... from Costco last few years. I don't remember how many miles it had when I purchased it but it is our first SVX

Re: Anyone use Pulstar Iridium Plugs?

A classic thread: <Has anyone tried pulstar sparkplugs?>
There are a lot of basic principles of physics that say that Pulstar's claims are somewhat... questionable.

Wow, really? I swear I punched in pulstar in the search job and only 1 thread came up with a single comment from someone mentioning to put some pulstars in there....maybe I spelled it wrong as pulse star as first, since that is their website name.

Figures... lol

Re: Anyone use Pulstar Iridium Plugs?

I had a heck of a time coming up with it, too - you'd think that having Pulstar in the title would've brought it up?

Posted for the information, not a "wat, you couldn't find it?" thing.
