The AX is held at Cumberland airport on one of the taxiways. The airport is not very active anymore, but occasionally they need to shut down the AX course to allow a plane to get to or from their hanger.
Here you can see a plane approaching tire marks where they usually have a turn around for the course.

Neat. I've been wanting to make it out to one of these things. It seems there's a decent number of people doing autocrossing here in Florida, but I haven't had the car running quite reliably enough at the right time for one. In the spring hopefully I'll be able to. Also would really like to finish teaching my wife how to drive stick well enough that she can race too.

I do not know why but that part kept messing me up. If you look carefully you can see me getting pissed off at the end. At least I don't hit any cones...This is also my first time racing Killer Tomato. I'm hoping to do my springs and struts on my claret when I get my refund so I can race more next year.
