Liquid Silver paint matching
Does anyone have a recommendations for a rattle can spray paint that would match up fairly well to the Liquid Silver color? I am DIY painting a 97 grille, so I don't think it has to be perfect but I am hoping to find something close.

Dupli-Color has the Liquid Silver and Clear Coat match for the SVX in a 2 can kit. Worked great on my '97 grille with a little wet sanding between coats.

I have their spray can for my 96 Polo, using it for my hood and trunk struts and radiator supports. A perfect match! Any decent clear coat will work over the base coat. Start HERE .

Thanks guys, I'll probably order that one. It's a bit more expensive than I wanted to pay, but still not too bad for a good color match.

I've had great luck with the Paint Scratch stuff. Also, many local autobody supply houses can mix the paint in a rattle can for a lot less money. Just sayin.

Just an idea, I know when I painted my grill and doors, I went to my local Robbins Auto Shop. They had a Dupont "Paint Camera" there, they put it on my hood, it took a "picture" of my paint, analyzed it, and they were able to make a custom mix match it.
I know my 94 Barcelona Red had a chemical composition that was closer to a Vee-Dub Cherry Red - but the fading shouldn't be as bad on a Liquid car. Match was great, but you CAN tell the clear coat isn't as high a quality on the doors, I think it's because it's on metal. On the grill it came out perfect.
