To continue the hijack...

I drove a 1968 Mustang through the early 90s. Drove an '86 Subaru GL wagon 'til spring of 2000. Drove a '90 Legacy until early 2004.

Those cars were pretty much used up when we parted. By comparison, my current rides still feel solid and strong.

So I tried lubricating the stopper/damper with white lithium and the popping didn't go away. Will I need to replace the spring loaded parts inside and are they an easy part to find?
