Re: starter wont ingage

Do a search on "bosche relay" or "starter problem" and you will find a plethora of info on the matter..... much quicker than waiting for replies, as this issue has been discussed without mercy.

Re: starter wont ingage

What sort of noise?

Clicking?

If the starter is clicking, and TRYING to engage, it might be a low battery.

If the starter is not doing ANYTHING, no sound, then the relay/starter information is likely the first place to look.

Keep in mind, the starter is just under the dash, around the area where the firewall turns into the transmission tunnel, right on top of the transmission, just to the driver's side, under and aft of the throttle body. That could sound like it is coming from under the dash, even though it is on the other side of the firewall.

Do what he said -- except Bosch is spelled "Bosch."
