Re: Ideas for wheel color

In taking pictures of a car with black wheels without some sort of tire-wet-look stuff on it, it will look dirty 100% of the time.

So it's 2 for stock silver, 1 for gunmetal so far.
That's the color my 90 Legacy wagon is, it looks pretty good when it's clean and shined up but that car has quite a few dings dents and scratches, so it doesn't really look that great :P

You are so true, keeping them clean is a must.

Re: Ideas for wheel color

I'll take a better picture later. The day the picture was taken, I had one hour to drive home with the balanced wheels, install them, take the car off jackstands, and drive 15 minutes to meet someone for dinner. That was simply a fast cellphone shot before I scrambled out the door.

Re: Ideas for wheel color

WOW

Mica Ruby Pearl looks FANTASTIC!!!

But call me biased. My Legacy is Garnet Red Pearl, which is a similar slightly darker than bright red color.

I have hyper-silver wheels on my Legacy, and love the effect. (similar to the Ruby with ROH wheels pictured earlier)

I originally tried to get some gunmetal wheels (slightly bronze dark paint) with a machined face, but they discontinued the machined face, and I didn't want to go street-ricer dark on the wheels. I don't like all-dark wheels, nor white wheels, and I tend to prefer silvers over bronzes or golds.
