I am in Dubai working and am now only in the USA for 4 months a year.
I have 2 cars and no time to drive them so i am cleaning house.
I also have a 66 Thunderbird Towne Landau for sale that is totally restored.

The Subaru project was fun and the car is flawless, i tried to keep the mods tasteful and use Subaru stuff to make an updated version of my favorite car.

If you guys have any questions or know anybody you might think might be interested in this car please let me know.

A few members on this forum have helped me with parts and advice for this car and build, brakes and stereo connectors and driveshaft service from tomsvx.

Thanks to all and have a happy new year.

Geoff, the car is a credit to the work you did. As I said above, I hope you get a good price for it. This car is worthy of a decent price, great condition and a lot of expensive and tasteful upgrades.

I'm not a fan of very dark tint, but if I lived in Nevada no doubt I would see the need for it.

The Tribeca rims are very nice and I like them very much, they suit the green. They may be a bit heavier than the OEM rims because the original rims were a good deal lighter than other available wheels. [The only wheels around a bit lighter would be Mazda RX7 rims]

Nice job, man, I hope you get your money.

Joe

PS Thunderbird looks nice

Unhappy Re: 1997 svx

Thunderbird----http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/971998986.html

Its a completely restored town landau with a 390v8, its been completely gone through. It has a bruise on the right front fender from a parking lot hit and run scenario.
Mostly new parts. Some original, its a stunning example of a mid sixties land yacht.

The wheels on the SVX are heavy thats why i ended up installing the new race concepts brake system with steel braided lines.
It stops on a dime and gives you some change now!!!

I really dont want to sell either car as i have spent a small fortune restoring both.

I work in Dubai now and i am trying to reduce my tax footprint in the USA.
I need to get rid of all things that can tie me to the usa including car registration and insurance and many other things
