I need to know if the A/C condenser coils are interchangeable between a 92 and 95 SVX

I have a 95 SVX with a bad A/C condenser, I found someone selling a A/C condenser out of a 92 (which used R-12).
I need to know if the A/C condenser coil is interchangeable. Meaning will it bolt up to the A/C lines in my car.

Thanks.

No they are not. R-12 molecules are larger than 134-A, and require different systems. That's why putting 134-A in an R-12 system will distroy it.

I think my question was mis-understood...
I am not going change from R-134a to R-12 or vis-versa...
I need to know if a condenser coil from a 92 will work as a replacement in my 95 SVX...

dont know about the 95, but I had a cracked ac condenser on my 94. I was able to swap it out with my 92 parts car. I did have to flush the 92 condenser with brake cleaner before bolt on my 94.
Good luck

Then why can I buy a R-134A retrofit at wal-mart for a R-12 system?!

I've got a 95 Condinsor on my 92, so yes they will fit....

some of the lines are different, but the condinsor is the same.

huck369, are you talking the A/C condenser or condenser coil (the cooling coil) that sits infront of the radiator?
What I need is the condenser coil..
It appears that pearlm30 swapped his condenser coil.

Thanks

Naim
