I've read about LNG/CNG powered cars, but haven't read too much into converting a car over. It's not all that different from the propane conversions that were popular in the 80s, the main drawback is the fact that, like propane, you can't just go to any old gas station and fill up, and CNG/LNG fueling points are few and far between, at least around here. You should be able to LNG conversion or CNG conversion and see what you come up with.

There's someone around here with a propane (I think) fueled SVX. He had a nice backfire and blew his airbox/snorkle/MAF to kingdom come recently.

it had been converted for a while before he owned it though with no issues. The system in his actually has the ability to switch back and forth with gasoline, so the whole frequency of filling stations is a non issue as well!
