that being said, i'd have to say secondary is the "ricer boy next door" annoyance probably the only platform out there where stupid freaking leds with wires sticking out with exposed glue and spinning hubcaps and smashed to hell bodykits held on with decking brackets are all somehow more important than fixing the blown head gasket or the grinding brakes, or decent tires.

by the way, my comute was made 40 minutes longer for some a%#hat ecomuter in a civic that had his necesary downforce aluminum wing rip off last week.

lol !!you need a hug or something, you seem angry.

I like how you took the effort to change your sig to reflect the pic you posted. You have a great sense of humor.

Umm. Did everyone else miss the fact that he was joking, and that in fact is NOT an 02 Civic?

Edit: I didnt see that we had already moved to a new page as well. I knew he was kidding.

No, I noticed right away. I was surprised everyone else didn't. Then again, I guess many people here have not owned a civic. My 01 was awesome for $800, and after cleaning it up, we sold it and with the money bought the Laguna SVX and paid off a few bills.

When I had the dealership I bought and sold at least 30. Accords were far easier to sell. Sentras I would have to say were a far smarter buy, but no one ever trusts the dealer. They were always far more reliable, often better on gas, and most times almost half the price.

I meant about the page
...I really like the new SIs, and they look hard to tape a whole bunch of *&(t on, so with any luck it won't become a stigma

And I think a Toyota is the best value in a car, I've seen far more Toyotas with a gazillion miles on them than Hondas... (I like my Subarus, it's just Subaru doesn't have anything here that's new that comes close to the Yaris or Corolla in fuel economy) I still think the best value in an 80s used car is a Subaru, or an early 90s Lego..

I know this probably has nothing to do with whatever conversation is going on by now, but to the original question... Honestly, what makes you like that style of taillights? They don't compliment the cars already good looks at all, and it just draws attention from other people (who would want to race you) or the police. Neither of which I would be happy to see more of.

Also, you only get 18 mpg? My car got 30 mpg on the highway, going 85, with the cruise, off through the mountains, LITERALLY. Only mod of any significance was a cone filter mounted on the MAF. Even around home letting it warm up for ten minutes every morning before I drive half a mile to work, I'm still hard-pressed to get under 22.

Its guilty by association. Alot of losers like it, there for its ugly? Come on. Its all about personal taste. I personally like them (on red cars primarily), because a bright red car with darker red tail lights often looks gorky I think. and one with bright red tail lights (newer cars ex: 03 mustang), the tail lights disappear into the rear, making it very plain jane.

I have seen alot of people say they like them on black cars too. Its a valid style, and can be done tastefully, and even discretly(sp?).

I personally don't like green cars. I think most green cars would look better in another color (including the SVX). So like, green doesn't compliment the car at all.......right? So like, WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE GREEN CARS?! maybe...juust maybe, its because my own personal taste, is just that, 'personal'. And maybe, juust maybe, its ok to have a green car. Heck, maybe even a green car with altezzas!? you should work on understanding that
