Two Tone SVX?

I found this on Ebay, forgive me if it's a repost.
I've found a Brilliant Red SVX at a good deal & am considering this scheme for it. Lemme know whatcha think.

BTW the one I'm looking at has a wing too, that'd be black as well, and the windows would be tinted as dark as possible.

The initial sketches By ItalDesign showed the SVX as having the decklid black. They used this to give the impression of an all glass top. I don't think Gugario had a solid color in mind when he drew up the concepts. The most successful solid color IMHO is Polo, or Liquid Silver.
I think using either Black or maybe bronze upper, with matching tint would be the Schiznit.

Wow. I'd have to see it in person to decide if I'd want it on my car or not, but from that picture it looks really nice. The white pinstripe really sets it off. Any bigger/better/more pics?

You're right about that.
It makes the SVX look sleeker. Gives it a lower profile. Go for it!

A lower profile? Dude, grandma on her scooter is taller than my car. It's plenty low.

I would like it better if the black didn't come across the side of the car. It doesn't do much for it in my opinion. I like the hood to be the car color too. But that is just me.

From that single picture you posted, I don't think the black looks good coming across the front fender, either. It just looks really plain. But that may just be because of this particular picture. Here's a link to a thread with pictures of a Claret with the same paint scheme, but in these images, it looks good to me.

This year some of the 2008 expensive sport cars are doing a 2 tone paint with the hood a different color, like the Nissan Z for instance. Even some new 2008 pickup trucks come factory different hood colors.
I think some of the people here think any change to the SVX is Sacrilegious.
( they might be right ) LOL With a wing of course!
Do it for you. Many others will see it and like it as well, you know, the common folks!
