those you cannot change the colors but manipulate them for a lighter or darker color. i just put blue transparency behind it to make it look bluish/teal

VEEERRY dark. guessing you tinted the back sides of the gauges red without upgrading the lighting behind it?
or if you did, you didnt remove the green first?
So far, mine look like this:

Before I tint them the color I want Im gonna switch to leds lighting the reverse side, either in stock formation or using a loop of wide angle leds behind th e gauge face

yea i am going to redo the gauges, i was trying out new things for color and left all the green on it. how did you take the green off?

k so how did y'all do the gauge colors??? mine has a green filter thing on the back of the whole thing but other than replacin the whole thing I have no Idea how I would do that?? please lemme know I was doin the other lights but haven't finished them all the stained glass paint is hard to gauge and get to be just the right thickness. What did you guys use to sand down the backs and get the green off???

Well, its pretty simple really. Ive heard of people usning nai polish remover and something else to scrape it off...but honestly, your best off with a piece of 220 grit sand paper. For redline, and the hot mark on the temp gauge, I used a razor blade to scratch the green off around it, keeping the red

the avvantage to the sand paper, besides being a gajillion times faster, is that it leaves the surface with a more frosted look, for better light distribution. youll be less likely to get bright and dim spots this way

To change it whatever color you want...and I do mean whatever color, you'l probably want to use white leds in place of the factory bulbs, and use stage gels cut in the shape of the gauges attached behind the gauge face. The thing herer is, I dont know if the stock light distribution will work well with leds, or if Ill have to make something completely custom to get even lighting. I was originally going to get mine done before making a write up or offering advice, but Ive put this project on the side. hopefully you guys can get your interiors fully converted. Id love to see it all done up, even if it isnt in my car

Camera batteries are dead so i have to wait until they charge a little. Today is the first I seen the lit up and they are still spotty so i'll need to touch up a few spots that are see through. I used the same method as when I did my red ones. Honestly the best way to to blue would be to sand the complete backing of all the guages off with some 600grit wet sand paper and then lay down one or a couple sheets of blue transparencies behind it the more you put on the darker it will get. It's actually probably easier to change them to any color with the transparency than what I did abpve because you can only get away with that if its a dark color.

This is what they look like with just blue LED's. I put them in an extra set of gauges to see what they would like. The only thing I don't like is the red needles and red areas on the gauges are harder to see. Also the odometer and trip are blue. With the standard bulbs in place it makes the needles light up red.
