Behind the wheel again

It was good to get behind the wheel again......even if it was a "klunker".

The svx was not as nice as I wanted buy I went and looked anyway. I am holding out for the right one at the price.

If anyone knows of a nice one "cosmetically" but needs some mechanical work let me know. I definatly have the fever again.

I should never have sold my 5spd.

I did install a cleveland into a 67. The body and paint are good but not perfect. It is a gold color that will be changed when it gets painted. The transmission is the fun part....a t-5 from a 90s mustang.

Ah, t-5, nice! Thats what I wanted to do to my 67 but I ran out of money and lost my storage space. Good luck with your search.

There are trannies that would work better.....but not on a teachers income. I am sure if I launched the thing it would break. Really the car is set up for street....I have no interest in drag racing. I put a lot into the suspension as well.

Anyway this thread is behind the times a bit. I found SVX last week. 92 LSl $1750! It really is in good shape the seller was just in a huge hurry to sell it.
