Good to hear!

I also would agree with Steve in saying that the 300ZX would be a good choice. The autos are very similar to ours and can have overheating problems (but not as common due to their shorter final drive). If you go with a well-maintained 130K-140K mile 300zx, you should have many trouble free years of ownership ahead of you.

If money isn't a big issue, then look at a higher mileage single owner '02 WRX. They can be had for around 10-12 grand and are very reliable cars.

There are also shift kits available for auto 300ZXs, I think HKS makes one.

haha, thanks guys.

I actually think I might have found an amazing deal on a MKIII Supra Turbo. It only has 103,xxx miles. I'll keep you guys informed. I know i'll have to put on a stronger head gasket, but other than that, most Supras i've seen have very few problems.

that would definetly be the biggest inghtmare of all of them. the tems, the headgasket, unreliable turbo, you definetly dont want any of that. If you have extra income and love to work on a car often, its a dream. Cheap fast, and can be a lot of fun. But you need to stick to a civic or something in your price rainge.

i'm considering an Integra GS-R, but I really don't know about anything made from HondaI couldn't take being part of the Honda crowd, the thought of a 4 Cylinder scares me......I've been a member of supraforums for a while now, the general Idea I get is the only real problem is the Head Gasket, which I plan on replacing with the HKS piece that is supposedly pretty solid. The overheating problem should never really be one since Boone is never is short supply of cold air. I will probably sell the stock turbo as well, and upgrade it.

AvP, I might consider that if your SVX is still for sale when i'm ready to buy, I was going to most def. do it until I saw the deal with the windshield, I DONT want to deal with that again.....

Its interesting how different cars are from country to country, over here N/A 300zx's suck big time, and the auto twin turbos are not much better, I have driven a GTO (a later model of the 3000GT) it had a 6 speed manual and had a twin turbo v6 in it..... it was awd and 4ws, it was a simply amazing car to drive and extreamly fast! I have also Driven a supra mkIII twin turbo, that is a great car aswel, i assume over there though they would have the 1jz which would be even sweeter , i have to say out of all the choices you have put forward the 3000GT is the sexyest (if it is the same thing we get out here) if not why would you wanna ditch the SVX (im in Universtiy and i have the most unique car in the whole place)

Just my thoughts
