The Sera. Seeing that made me smile.

I've been working 7 days a week until 10PM or so, so I haven't gotten much of a chance to play it. I have my A license - for for which I won, of all things, a Pontiac Sunfire. Are you kidding me?

I'm still racing my Mk1 MR2 in whatever races I can enter it. I've got it tuned to the point where I can win the MR races, except for New York. I can't keep up with the NSXs on the straights. In the turns I can carry way more speed, but that course is all about the straights.

So you can do more cosmetic mods than just the wheels? That's cool!

I guess I'll find out for myself when I get it in a couple days...

I'm tuning the first car i bought in the game(the only one i have)....an 02 STi. So far ive got it pretty modded. Ive got the turbo...suspension...brakes...and all that stuff. Ive gotten it up to 428 HP. Ive got my b liscence...working on the ia or ib whatever it is. My STi cant keep up with some cars in the straights either...its all about how ya take the corners. I had an all out war with a 3000GT VR-4 ...that damn thing wasnt gonna let me win. I really hate how in the special driving thing how when u hit someone they give you a 5 sec penalty. I really really hate that.

Does anyone think the cars sound realistic? From what ive heard so far I would say no....the STi sounded like it had a fart can exhaust. And the 911 they have from 86 was veryyyy quiet i was like wtf.

all the gt games were suposed to have realistic sounding notes. i dont think they do. the only game with a real engine note is need for speed porsche unleashed. best sounding cars ever. but then again im a sound nut (for example i can recall every soundtrack i have heard from every movie or tv show. you would be suprised how many times they reuse soundtracks, ive heard the "dragon: bruce lee story" track on atleast 5 movies and the "red soyna" opener on a couple of video game trailors, the new zelda game for one) the average player probably wouldnt pick up on the subtle sounds, but it definatly is important to build an emersive envirment, even if the player doesnt notice it directly.

I agree. The sound in GT4 is average at best. NFS:U2 has a MUCH better soundtrack with MUCH more realistic engine sounds. All the cars in NFS:U2 have distinctive sounds. GT4 has the Blitzen sounding like a sick Civic.

Yeah im not impressed at all with the sounds in GT.....if the sound was awesome that would make the game so much better because i loveeeee the STi sound at WOT and in this game it sounds like a civic.

I kindof like the nitrous, expecialy for ralling, becasue you can put a bigger turbo on the car for the straights, and use some nitrous to cover up the week low end from the bigger turbo. Very usefull.

I transferd my stuff over too, and got a Legacy GT. sedan. I raced it stock for a few races and decided it ws way to quiet so I put on the full out race exaust and intake. Now I love the sound of it. It sounds like the exaust on my beater wagon, but with a little turbo wistle. But most of the other cars on the track do sound the same, (like a Honda) You can definitly hear my car, it's a much deeper throaty tone. I'm wondering how the 3.0L would sound with race exaust.

I've used the Legacy for alot of stuff so far, including the rally and special conditions race. I did end up dropping in a bigger turbo and FMIC to bring the power up to about 343hp. Oh yeah I put a big wing on the back too.

Anyway I found the NOS and put some in my Mustang (sister in-law made me buy it for her ) But what button do you use to activate it? I assume the "Speacial" button, but hitting that does nothing for me
