New SVX Owner!
Greetings!
I am now a new owner of a 1992 Silver SVX!! I drove it back from Chicago, and just got home today. I made it back in less than 48 hours, but with little sleep. In fact, I am super tired right now!! I love it! It will need a little help in a couple areas, but I feel that it is a great 92! I will plan to be there on Friday with my new toy! -Brian

So it looks like we have at least 6 people confirmed for this meet. I am going to head by there tonight and see about seating needs. We may need to use thier "party" or group room in the remodled part of the restaraunt. There isnt as much neat stuff on the walls in there but I'm sure we'll have a great time none the less. Just a reminder: XXX Rootbeer accepts cash only I'll be keeping an eye on this thread and anticipating a great evening meet!

Stunning Paint Job
OK, Manofmayo -
Next summer when the weather warms up, we can gather the whole gang at my place and spend the day sanding and masking your car. Then I will spray it purple on top, blending to pink on the hood and trunk, then a brilliant flash of yellow down the side, and bronze below the belt line. It will be stunning, and probably the only one of its kind.

Arrangements have been made for our group
Last night I went to XXXRootbeer and made a reservation for a large round table seating 10 people. If more people show up I'm sure we will be able to make things work out where we can all hang out.
One thing that was somewhat concering to hear was that XXX closes at 8:30  . I am thinking that we would want to schedule the meet earlier so people have a chance to hang out and actually eat before they tell us they need to close. The waitress said that we can stay a little bit after closing but not too long. I don't want to take advantage. So, amongst yourselves, feel free to move the meet time earlier in the evening and I will see all of you ~7:15. I get off work at 7:00 in Mercer Island so I will only be ~7 minutes away. I apologise for the lack of organization on my part in scheduling this meet. I thought they would be open much later on a Friday night but it's not the summer anymore and I suppose this time of year isn't as busy for them. This was the first meet I've ever tried to get off the ground and I want you all to be able to enjoy it still. Please post the earliest anyone will be arriving as I will need to adjust the reservation time. The reservation is under the name Elliot Coons. All that being said I will see all of you sometime before 730 ths Friday night!
