I am open to the time. Dan was trying to get off early to go down with us, but may not be able to. He will come down after work and is not trying to come down with the group. We can save him a camp spot. When are you thinking. I am open to any time. I just need to let seasvx know.

my $0.02:
i would prefer to arrive at the HR fairgounds around mid-afternoon (say, 3pm just for discussion), which would suggest a meetup & departure time of around 11am from some agreed-upon location between Everett & Tacoma. i can think of three routes:
I-5 / I-84 (obvious, direct, perhaps the least drive time) I-90 / SR-97 (less direct, little more drive-time, more entertaining) I-5 / SR-12 / FR-25 (takes way more time, by far the most entertaining road I've driven in this state) (btw, svxobsessed is in the Kent area & would like to pickup the convoy along I-5, i believe ...) also, when we agree on a route, i'd like to cross-post the nwsvx plan and itinerary on the other subari websites, in case there is any interest in an inter-club convoy, with the consensus of the nwsvx convoy group of course. what y'all think, hey? (fyi, Ken & Eric, the main organizers, will be arriving around noon on Friday and are asking for volunteers to help set up.) Last edited by seasvx; 08-18-2004 at 04:39 PM.

Everything sounds fine to me, all-subie convoy included.
Sounds like you are keeping everything straight and there is some contact going on offline, so since the threads are pretty scattered and incomplete, we'll trust your judgement, Jim.

Route
I dont mind which route we take down there, and also the departure time is ok with me. I would like to try to meet more down south by me so i dont have to drive north to meet all of you somewhere. But i dont know if you all want to meet me somewhere off of I-5 or someone could call my cell and tell me when your getting close to kent. Please help me with ideas. Thanks!

Depending on how the route goes, we can call you and pick you up on the way as the convoy passes closest to Kent. No need for you to backtrack up to North Seattle or wherever the initial meeting is.
(Along those same lines, since I am on the east side, I might try to merge into the pack via 405, either where it joins I-5, or where it joins 90, depending on which route is chosen.)
