Alcyone patch?

Does anyone know if a patch exists with the Alcyone symbol? I have a blank baseball cap and would love to put the Alcyone symbol on it.

If not, I may contact a place to see if I can get some custom made. I suspect I would have a minimum order quantity. Is there any interest for an Alcyone patch about 3" high?

Matt

ref Alcyone patch

If it looks like the JDM hood badge and is approx the same size, I would be very interested in at least one of them, depending on price of course.

I can probably have one made up in an embroided patch. I have done this with the Network logo. It usually costs about $50 to get it scanned in. Then it costs about $25-$35 to get it embroided on an article of apparel that you supply. The prices depend on logo size, color and type of thread. You can buy one at a time.

If you buy the article of apparel from the place that I use (Christina's), they add a small fee (usually $10 to the price of the shirt, hat, etc, to embroider the patch on.

I don't have an Alcyone symbol.
I probably need to get one from SVXCESS (John Hoffman).

If anyone has an electronic version of the the Alcyone emblem, Please sent it to me as an attachment to an e-mail.
Then I can easily forward it and get a qoute for Matt.

Thanks,

Thanks Larry! I've been looking online. I found a place that is a dive shop that does custom patches. I'll just tell them the alcyone symbol is stylized shark. Their prices seem reasonable. For a 3" patch, it should be under $2 per patch. I would have to order 50 of them, so there would have to be enough people who want to pony up a couple of bucks for a patch. Even if I can sell half right away, I don't mind holding onto the extras so they are avialable for new members.

ALCYONE Patches

Say Matt,

Did you get an Alcyone image for the patches you were going to see about having made?
I'm still interested in them, and hope you have some good news regarding them.

I'm still planning on gettting them made. That said, I haven't actually done anything on them. I have the images I need. Problem is I'm just not a photoshop wiz and haven't gotten up the nerve to try it. If anyone is a photoshop guru who wouldn't mind helping me, let me know.

I'm still interested Matt, so if no one else steps up to the plate, I'm on it... I've just been so extra-busy with packing and moving to Seattle that I've barely had time for anything else. Sorry We'll keep in touch, though.

Alright. I finally got off my butt and did some work on the patch. Look at these and let me know which one you like better. They are based on the hood emblem.

Ignore the crudeness of the lines. I would like feedback on what color scheme is best. The dark on the top/inside of the symbol or on the outside of the symbol. Let me know.

The dark area on the inside of the logo looks the best IMHO...

svx patches

Wow, those look GREAT!!!!

But I do like the dark on the inside best.

Put me down for at least two, (depending on price)
Just let me know how much, when, and where.

Thanks for all your efforts!
