I still need to burn up some vacation days...

I can probably get off on Thursday the 4th??

Thanks for the offer, Dave. Sorry for the delay in response but I ordered a new hub from subaruparts.com last week and they just processed my order today. I may not even get the part by Thursday or Friday at this point and due to the worsening of my wife's car, I may have to bite the bullet and pay someone to do the work for me so I can get it done and overwith.

I do have the new axle sitting in my back seat and would not mind trying to replace that with your assistance if you are still game. I'm always game for getting together with a fellow SVXer for fun or work. Let me know what you are up to and we can go from there. I am going to have to have all the repairs done by this weekend if possible as I cannot wait any longer (parts arrival depending). Again I apologize for the short notice and slow response. Been really hectic around here of late. :-\

Ughhhh... I have off tomorrow, Wednesday. Probably can't get off Thursday, and definately not Friday... Sorry, I was looking forward to helping with this, since mine will most likely need bearings before too long.

I don't know how long of a job the axel is, or what your workspace is like. But I could probably make it down Thursday late in the afternoon or evening. Sunday would also work for me.

If it's not done by the end of next week, I could probably get off on Thursday or Friday again, with a little more notice please.

That's ok Dave. Don't sweat it. They are calling for snow this weekend starting Friday. Evenings are too dark to be working outside anyway so that rules out Thursday. I am going to take it to the shop the day after I get my parts at this point anyway. I really do appreciate your offer to help though! I will see you at the Reading meet in April (you are going aren't you?) and with luck possibly sooner as I would like to get a local PA mini meet going sometime before then. If we could round them all up at one time we would find we have quite a few. I do look forward to meeting you in person sometime though.

Thanks again!
