My X has another boo boo :(

I came out of a store, to find someone hit my SVX.

Just like last year, I don't know who it was they just hit it and ran.
I'm pretty pissed off, and very sad.
There isn't much else to say, other than luckly this time I have full coverage insurance, and hopfully it won't be too bad

I have a few pix

Are you sure you're talking about cars still?

That REALLY sucks!

I second the "check with the store for security camera footage" idea.

Deja,
That sucks so bad!! I can't believe that in small-town Colorado they would just up and leave. Musta been kids......
If you need help, let me know... Chris knows the owners of a junkyard down here. They might be able to acquire parts for you.

Thats a good idea about security cams, but of course in Craig America, we don't have them.

I havn't got around to getting estimates yet I'm working too much.
I'm not really sure what to think. Some people are dicks.
It was either teens, or some drunk asshole who didn't want to get a DUI.

It had to been a truck, considering my bumper is scratch free....
Or a big ass car.

Where I was parked, you had to have been a ****ing retard not to have seen it.......And there was no parking spots behind my car(No one should have been backing out of anywhere)
Exactly what happend and everything, last year when someone else did the same ****. Poor car.

Deja

PS. Strange how I was going to pay off my car this month!

Here's an idea: Go to a surplus store and purchase 'shaped charges', they're explosives that only blow up one direction. Mount them in your bumpers and hook them up to your alarm so that when you arm your car, it arms the shaped charges... maybe you could activate them with a shock sensor or something. >shrug<

Man, that sucks. I f'ing hate it when that happens. My wife's old Grand Am got nailed 3 times in one year. The last time it was a Blazer with a trailer hitch. It was parked in front of us when we got there, and gone when we got back. It damage ran from the bumper to about 1/4 up the hood. We called the police, and they said there was nothing they could do because it was on private property, and because there was no evidence it was the Blazer. NO EVIDENCE? There was black paint on the bumper, obvious damage from a hitch, and, get this, f'ing tire tracks in the dirt from it! No evidence my @$$! God I hate Maine police.

Anyway, much as I hate to say it, I'm with Rob on this one. Police don't care about stuff like this, and there's little chance you'd ever find the culprit on your own. Just mount some explosives inside the tail lights. Then you can just blame it on "those damn high tech SVX's with their pressurized lights. You never know what they're gonna do!"

Sorry to see that.... It really sucks

I'm always parking my car at the end of the parking lot, where there's no other cars around. My girlfriend always complaining that we have to walk a mile to get to the store but idiots aren't openning their doors on my cars...

hahaha
That would be sweet to have explosives on the X
Then have one of those voice things play "Step away from the SVX........MotherF#ckers!' LOL

Yeah, I know I won't find who did it, but I'm hoping someday they will get theirs. I have NEVER(Now is the time to knock on wood) hit someones car before. NEVER! If I ever did, I wouldn't be stupid an run, knowing my luck I would get caught!
I think I am more carefull than the 'average' person about alot of things. Me, I go 2 m/p/h in a parking lot, no matter how small.!

I just want one of those expensive car alarms, where if someone touches your car(In my case, rams the back of it with a truck), it will make a noise on this remote thing that you have on your key chain. THEN, I would walk to my car, in time to see someone run off, then I'd catch them, and beat the holly hell out of them........Then I would smash in their headlights, and pop their tires.(Not to mention plenty of other things) Who would be crying then???????

*Sighs*

my unfortunate qustion is.. who would be going to jail then
Not that they wouldnt deserve it ,but you would have a better chance getting paid for the repairs if you just called the cops & there insurance. Often times instant gratification has negative reprocussions ( i know i cant spell )
I want the same alarm only with a Shock feture

You could hook up the alarm to a 35 mm camera in your back window or something. Just another idea.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.
