Stebro

hey,
why the heck is Stebro's website so damn awefull. It is so lame. They need to get somebody to redo it or something and actually provide some information. It really turns me away from getting a Stebro Exhaust. Also, does anybody have a Stebro sound clip? Thanks.

Sound clips

There are a few sound clips in SVX6595's locker i think there in a folder that says "sounds". That's from when he had an svx with the stebro exhaust.

Stebro doesnt really need a better site. The product really sells itself. I think the same goes for their customer service.

Yeah, the Stebro site is low budget. I just wanted to mention that people have had both good customer service and bad customer service from Stebro. I personally, had excellent customer service. I spoke with Dan on the phone several times, and in each instance, he gave me the info I needed in a timely manner.

If you are serious about the Stebro exhaust system, I highly recommend getting the "Euro Resonator" (along with the center pipe and the muffler). The Euro Resonator is not listed on their website. It replaces the center cat with an expansion chamber, and it completely transforms the sound of the exhaust. I also think it does wonders for the flow of the exhaust gases (an HP).

If you want to see a picture of the Euro Resonator, look in my locker. If you want to hear what my Stebro setup sounds like, have a look here:

there used to be a BIT more to the site, but it must be under construction. i will say that their product is top notch and of the highest quality. you will forgive the web page and any un-professional customer service if you ever get the exhaust installed on your car.

i have a good sound clip, but its 6MB. how can i get it uploaded somewhere?

Yeah, I'm thinking about this more and more, but there isn't any info on the site, and I don't know what it includes. Would the euro resonator replace the y-pipe on the stock SVX system???

Yes. If you look at the pictures in my locker, you'll see that the Euro Resonator in those pictures is sandwiched between stock center pipe and the stock pipes coming off the manifolds.

bthomas, the Stebro sounds absolutely awesome at high rpm. I love redlining my car just to hear it. :-)

Is the Stebro an easy install? Does it just bolt right up?
Thanks

I agree -

Very easy. I actually had no trouble getting the old exhaust off, but my svx has seen almost no road salt.

rear section........$525US
center section..... 290US

Euro resonator? i can't put this on my '97, but i don't think i would want it any louder anyway. its almost perfect, bordering on loud.

shipping is $40, but i that's Canadian, so its like $10US or something.
