Hey-
Do a search. This is a pretty common problem. You probably need a new security module. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2418624146 Mike |

The battery could be dead even though it is brand new. Remember that the parts could have been sitting on the shelf for quite some time.

The simple way of checking out the battery or batteries would be to go to Radio Shack. They will check out the battery and if it is dead, they have them there.

In the 92's/93's the module is behind the glove box. In the 94 and later, the module is on the underneath side of the rear parcel deck, accessible by taking off the inner trunk trim.
