What the heck?
OK....I am pleading complete ignorance here.
It took a long time to download that, I saw it one time and then the screen just disappeared, but anyway.....was that "thing" on a control line? It looked like the guy hanging onto the pole was connected to the car....and if he was, what about it is RC?  I assume this is only about how fast those little suckers can travel right? How do they time them?  Simply amazing.....  Don

OK...I'm an idiot...
Why would you need radio control....? the track is round. They are started with a push stick, run wide open and they are held on the track by a wire.
But it did go fast...

That is a lot of g's on the wire, and the wire does not break!!! amazing.
I guess they need the wire to get the THING to a certain speed, and then it is all the battery or whatever they are using. However, I dont think that THING even has wheels, because at that speed they won't turn, they will just slide. Nik

I used to fly control line planes when I was young. I competed in Combat class. I have plans for aRC PBY Catalina. I always loved that plane. I will build ths model when I retire. (Yes Ron, the airplane was invented before I was born)

I just converted a gillows cessena skyhawk control line model to RC recentely. Just fill in some missing parts (radios and servos) and is good to go.
