O/T - AK Quake Photo

I opened up last wednesday's newspaper and saw the photo that I'm attaching to this post. The reason being that, although the crack in the highway is quite obvious, that wasn't the first thing I noticed in the pic. I'm curious to see what you see first.

That instead of tearing it along the dotted line as instructed, you cut it out neatly? Or is it the silhouette of Mickey Mouse carved into the side of the mountain just above the roof of the Justy?

Survived? I heard they run top secret speed tests on prototype vehicles up in Alaska but can you imagine the speed and power of what's in the hood of that car as it literally tears the lanes in half with it's force??? That goes beyond AWD!!

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

if not by land..NOT by air

Here's a photo of Northway Airport. It's closed for a few weeks now. nasty nasty nasty.

I sure would hate to be on final and see THAT ahead of my little 6inch tires.

Nevermind the horrible visability.

A few weeks ago now

It was little advertised because no one died and because it was 'way' up in Alaska. Amazing though isn't it. A 7.9 earthquake is damn strong and would have leveled many other places, but in this case it was out in the tundra and thankfully no one was hurt...that I've heard of.
