Colorado meet

After getting pulled over today I decided I needed someplace safer to push my SVX. The closest race track I can find is about 60 miles east of Denver, CO.

Anyone interested in a mini-meet there, maybe next summer- 2012? I'm thinking early summer or late summer. They have lap days and half days.

My SVX never sees any others here in N. Wyoming. She needs to run with the other aging thoroughbreds.

I'm not talking about a race, just sharing a race track experience with other SVXers.

Let me know if there's any interest and I'll try to put something together and work out a date.

I will be headed out that way for some SVX related business and was planning on meeting up with a couple other SVX owners in CO.
Late summer is what I had been thinking but had not been able to set an exact date. If you can find a date that works, I can relay the message to the other SVX owners that I was planning on meeting up with and get things set up sooner rather than later. If people have a few months to plan, it gives them time to set plans as well as not make other plans.

(FYI I'm in WI but relocating to PA after the new year)

Have you been to the track or know anyone else who has? It looks like loads of fun in the videos on their site.

I'm still trying to get my schedule figured out as quickly as I can to set a date and am glad interest is growing.

i've never been but know people who have. all had good things to say. i think they are way less busy during the week if you can do that.

Too bad for me, though. I'd like to see your '97 Polo Green. Still only 22k on it? My '97 polo green has almost 72k on it and I thought that was good. Do you have pics posted somewhere?

looks like this area has some low mileage svx. mine only has 80 and you two have ones with less than that. figuring average person drives 12k a year mine should have 240k.

I'm thinking late summer is best for me and I hear that weekdays are less crowded. Weekdays'll be harder to do but might be worth it.
