Current SVX Fleet in New Zealand

Hi all, firstly, not sure if this is the correct place to post this so apologies to the admins if it's not. Please fix and slap me on the hand accordingly..

I recently made an enquiry to the NZTA (New Zealand Transport Agency) asking for some details regarding our beloved vehicles and how many are still registered as "still active" in this country. (see attached pivot table)

As expected the ratio of used imports vs NZ-new is almost two to one in favour of imports and it would appear that the 92 model is the most popular.

Cool Re: Current SVX Fleet in New Zealand

Well were are they - I think I have seen about 15 while travelling in NZ.

I've had mine for 13 years - so think that I must be the longest owner of any year (anyone want to make a comment).

Re: Current SVX Fleet in New Zealand

I had the same thought... I'd guess that they're spread out around the country, most of which aren't driven very often. My neighbour has a 91 JDM that I've seen maybe twice in the 10+ years I've lived next door...

The original owner of mine had it from 1994 to 2005 and only put 35K on it.....

Chch has alot of SVXs.
I only see one thats being used as a daily driver lately tho.
I got told that the guy that has a Yellow SVX has it parked up with another 2 or 3 SVXs.
I had 3 now 2.
Most I say would be parked up in garages and taken out on fine days.

NZTA also included some data re Vortex's as well.. BUT since they searched using the terms SVX and Alcyone, they only came up as Alceyone's... all 9 of them.. yes 9. Would be interesting to see how many more we get by searching Vortex as well....

No Links.. I email NZTA directly and asked for the information... since it wasn't in their online reports.

FYI, here's the spreadsheet they sent, from which I made the pivot table.
