It looks like the blue factory tint on all the windows and back glass but it looks like the windshield has the bronze tint.

Re: My progress so far

Over the weekend I managed to build the turbo up pipe and 3" downpipe. I ran out of gas while welding the down pipe so the welds are garbage, I will be grinding them down and redoing them this coming weekend along with finishing off the exhaust, and then i will get some video clips.

here is a picture from early saturday (before we finished up). It's currently not boosting as Im waiting for my stage 2 chip but hopefully it will be here tomorrow but for now I just have my intake flipped so I can still drive it to classes (ya ya i know its not good for the turbo but its my only mode of trasnportation and the turbo has been sitting on my shelf for like 3 years anyway. It does have the oil feed and return hooked up though so im not starving it)

my goal is to try and keep the air conditioning because it gets friggen hot here in the summer, right now it seems doable but we'll see.

PS: I know my engine is sitting funny, my drivers side mount is effed, waiting for my new one to come in

Re: My progress so far

Congrats, car looks better than before!

Have you put the lock back in for your trunk?
How did you open? By remote trunk release?

It seems that front windshield has been replaced.
Looks different color to me.
How was your old tires wear?
Did you need an alignment for the new tires/rim?
Just wonder.

Do you have HID or just the better bulbs?
Did you mind taking some pics at night shot down
the road and face to a wall?
I just wonder how does the cut-off look from the
projectors with the clear lens.

Good luck for the Turbo Project!!

Re: My progress so far

The trunk lock is back in, and I was opening it by the handle in the car on the drives side floor. People have been saying my windshield looks like it was replaced but it has the same code eteched in the windshield as the rest of the panels in the car from when it was imported... I dont know if this is a fluke or if they smashed the windshield and replaced it at the yard before sending the car out

I needed an alingment for the 18's so I did it the same day I put the wheels on. I have driven it to Nova Scotia and back now (3700km round trip) and the wear is normal.

I have an 8000K HID kit in my projectors and I will take some pictures tonight of it facing a wall to show you the cut off!

Thanks!

Re: My progress so far

awesome looks great! please forgive my ignorance, but is that turbo similar in size to the gt40 series turbos?? How much boost do you plan to run??? were you able to keep ac unchanged??? it looks like you moved the battery slightly, how are you mounting it???

Re: My progress so far

The turbo is a little smaller then a gt35r in size. The ac is all retained, the battery is turned and I moved the fuse Box into wheel well, only thing I removed was the washer tank. I'm making 9psi right now.

Stock internals right now. I have a spare engine I will be building over the winter with forged wiesco pistons, eagle rods, ACL bearings, cams, and supertech valvetrain. Also looking into getting some darton sleeves but we'll see how it goes. Also going to convert to a top feed fuel rail and run 1200cc injectors, Hydra, and Percision billet 6765 turbocharger.

I'm going to be dynoing it in about 2 weeks when The toronto subaru club dyno meet is on.

No washer fluid right now, I just picked up new lines to mount it in the trunk
