throttle body bypass mod?

what does the throttle body bypass mod actually do?

Keeps the heated up coolant from running through your throttle bodies, thus creating lower intake temperatures. Cooler temps = more power. But as LetItSnow said, you live in the northeast so it may not warrant actually doing it. In some cases (mostly when temps are averaging below well below freezing) it has been known on some cars to freeze the throttle bodies closed or open, which can open a nice batch of problems. Since the mod is easily done and easily reversable, you could always just do it for the summer and when fall starts to come around just reconnect the lines
