Re: Impreza 4 Piston Caliper Swap?

They'll bolt up, but the bolt locations on the SVX are further from the hub than on the STi, so the calipers will be mounted further out. The max rotor size the 4-pot Brembos are designed to work with is the one on the STi. On the SVX you would need a larger rotor, the end result of which would be either the caliper grinding into the rotor, or the pads hanging off the end of the rotor.

Re: Impreza 4 Piston Caliper Swap?

I've got Movit (from Germany) 4 piston calipers on my SVX, I can stop real quick...I just worry about cars behind me trying to stop. Great brakes but pricey, just replaced the front rotors and pads...over $1600.00!! Not sure what I'm going to when I have to replace them next time.
