Major bummer. I hate how insurance companies do it. I'd prefer to hand them my car and say "here, fix it, and get me a rental" and let them deal with it. Otherwise you have to get a quote from a body shop, submit it, get approval, get it fixed, have it not be right, go back through it, it costs more, fight iwth insurance, etc. They're supposed to insure and cover damage costs, but I've seen quite a few who were slighted in the event of an accident. I just hope you have better luck.
