Jack Upgrade?

A friend has the HF jack, never used it on a car, just to move $400,000 worth of wine botteling equipment arround and for $80 I was impressed, but I wanted a bit more lift in hight and weight, and got really tired of carying the old boat anchor everywhere, even loading it in the tractor bucket became a PITA.

I just got this in the mail today and it'll do.

It seems to be a step above the HF jack that I have used, this jack might be similar, but for about the same price I'll take the OTC.

This leaves me wondering, with everything made in China today, and cheap, where will replacement parts be when needed, I miss good old proto and s&k tools, well built and lasting a lifetime(be prepared to pay for it!), compare the crapsman life time waranty box wrenches, the protos have thin but durable walls that last just as long and fit in tight spaces crapsman won't!

Back to the jack, the feel dosn't say "high quallity", but good enough, probably not needed if you don't have a truck, but worth it if you do and need to carry a jack arround.

i've heard Audi made a similar jack made of aluminum thats stronger.I've heard it from another svx owner if that gives it credability
