Someone is selling my 1st SVX

Saw this on CL...

I am 100% its my first one I owned around 2000-2002 . Red battery tie down, K&N stickers on the airbox...and the dead give away: that "long" dent above the driver's rear wheel. Oh, and the windows look even more purple now, lol. It had a SVX window sticker on the front windshield when I had it too, but photos don't show if that is still there.

Car was ALOT cleaner when I had it. That car went through 3 different transmissions in less the 5k, and it looks like its working on another, lol.

PS- Rims weren't on backwards when I owned it.

You should offer them $1K and buy it back for sentimental reasons.

Just store it/tinker with it and turn it into a project car with eventual 5/6 speed and engine rebuild, custom paint, etc.

not the transfer clutches, which I am sure he is illuding to. They cost more than $40 no matter where you go... unless he wanted to replace just one

That is one heck of a deal! These cars are selling for $4,000 to $5,000. You had better jump on this sweet deal!

265HP?!? That must be why it eats trannies, all that extra power burning up the clutch packs.

Yeah tell me about it, lol. I put that K&N filter in and viola! +35 hp! I wonder if that filter is even the same one I put in it...hmm?

I considered emailing him to see how many miles are on it. When I sold it, it had about 100k...and the trans was only about 1k old.
